Dr. Ho Bee Kiau


Dr. Ho Bee Kiau is currently a Consultant Family Medicine Specialist in Bandar Botanic Health Center, Klang, Selangor.

She attained her Medical degree from UMMC in 1993. Subsequently, she attained her Master in Family Medicine (UMMC) in 2000. In 2003/2004, she underwent a subspeciality training in Community Geriatric in Monash University, Australia.

She has been actively involved in the supervision of the postgraduate Family Medicine trainees from UKM, UMMC and FRACGP. She is also appointed as supervisor for the credentialing process for the National Specialist Registry. She has also been actively involved with various studies, either as the principal investigator or co-investigator. Her main interest is in non-communicable disease NCD (eg. DM, HPT, Quit Smoking Services), infectious disease (eg. Dengue, Tuberculosis) and community geriatrics.

She has published several original research articles, mostly in NCD, geriatrics, primary care and infectious disease, both in local and international journals. She has also presented numerous scientific papers at local and international conferences. She is also involved in the development of the various primary care, NCD and CDC guideline/CPG for the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
